As small children we were profoundly affected by our ‘environment’ which includes how we were handled, the extent to which our needs were met by our care-givers, and the spoken and unspoken messages we picked up about how we should be and the sort of life we should expect and deserve.
Such beliefs will have been handed down to your parent’s/care-givers in their own early years, and would have then been re-enforced – and now dictate the limitations of your family.
The good news is – You don’t have to keep repeating the same patterns!
We now know from neuro-scientific studies that whatever we are repeatedly exposed to – whether words, actions or feelings – literally shapes our brain and the neuronal connections we make. The brain is wiring itself at a phenomenal rate in our first three years of life, and by six years of age we have our own *S.C.R.I.P.T. © in place. The template and blue-print for the rest of our lives.

We then filter out whatever doesn’t fit into this narrow filter and we create our life based upon what is written in our S.C.R.I.P.T.
Let’s remember that you didn’t choose your S.C.R.I.P.T. back then – it was drafted for you based upon the limited beliefs of your care-takers at that time.
If your S.C.R.I.P.T. included being not being happy, healthy, wealthy and loved, then sadly that is the template for your life and you will attract other people (your cast) to play out that sad drama with you, and help you to re-enforce it year after year.
It takes insight, courage and the right help to be able to challenge this ingrained pattern and cycle of unhappiness.
